I went running a short while ago, and after the 1.5 mile mark I glanced downwards and noticed I had picked up a hitchhiker. There was a fairly large ladybug crawling around on my shorts. I instinctively made to swipe it off, but luckily I stopped myself. The little creature just needed transportation, and at no cost to me. My companion stuck around for almost an entire mile before reaching its destination. And man it was HOT out.
